Absolute aanrader! Van adviesgesprek tot bekijken situatie tot installatie, Rein en Peter zijn zeer professioneel en meedenkend. Bij ons zijn er twee buitenunits en 4 binnenunits zonder problemen geplaatst. Met name de units op de bovenste etage zijn zo goed afgewerkt dat je aan de buitenkant helemaal niets ziet. Zij zetten steeds dat stapje extra waardoor je als klant met een gerust hart de installatie aan hun kunt overlaten. Na installatie laten ze alle ruimtes zeer netjes achter.

HOW TO CHOOSE

Start with the room, not the unit

Three situations, and what suits each one. Not sure? Then Rein checks it at your home.

  1. There's a stretch of free wall, high up in the room

    Then a wall-mounted unit fits. It hangs high on the wall and blows the air into the room. You use the louvres to send the air in the right direction yourself.

    What you do: See below for what a wall-mounted unit costs.

  2. You'd rather not see the unit

    A model in the ceiling or boxed in only shows a grille. It does need space above the ceiling or room to box it in, and it's a bigger job.

    What you do: Just give us a call. Rein will come and see whether it's possible in your home.

  3. It's for two or three rooms

    Then it becomes a multi split: one outdoor unit, and a separate indoor unit on the wall in each room.

More than three rooms, or a room larger than 60 m²? Then Rein comes to take a look first and works out a tailored price.

Many more combinations are possible than the examples on this site. Which combination fits depends on your rooms, the capacity needed and what is technically possible. A different combination is always agreed with Rein.

Do you also install floor-standing units?

Not as standard: for a floor-standing unit, just give Rein a call.

What does a ceiling unit cost?

There's no price up front for it, because more depends on your home: how the pipework runs and how much work it takes to build it in. Rein comes to take a look first, and after that you get a fixed price.

Can I choose a different brand?

Can a wall-mounted unit heat as well?

Yes. The wall-mounted units we give a price for both cool and heat. An indoor unit only heats the room it's in, though. Read the full answer

What do you do during the installation?

We make the wall opening and lay the pipework, do a pressure test with nitrogen and pull a vacuum on the system. Then we commission it and check it. We explain how the controls work, and we fit an installation label with the correct installation details. For us, the pressure test is a really important step: we put the pipework under pressure with nitrogen to check that it is leak-tight, before any refrigerant goes in. We also record the details on the installation label in our own records.

What warranty do I get?

You get a standard 2-year warranty, on top of your statutory rights. Have Airco Holland service it every year from the moment it is installed, and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries manufacturer's warranty runs on for up to 5 years. Airco Holland is certified by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to offer this. The extension to 5 years applies to an air conditioner installed by Airco Holland, counted from the installation date. It starts once your maintenance plan is in place and the first service has been carried out and paid for. Skip the yearly maintenance and the extension lapses. You arrange the maintenance on airco-onderhouden.nl.
