Vervolgens hebben ze op zeer korte termijn een airco in ons kantoor op de bovenverdieping geïnstalleerd. INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

Everything is included in the price

Your quote lists the supply and fitting of the complete Mitsubishi Heavy Industries installation, with installation materials, refrigerant pipes and fixings, and 21% VAT. All the work is included. We make the wall opening and lay the pipework, do a pressure test with nitrogen and pull a vacuum on the system. Then we commission it and check it. We explain how the controls work, and we fit an installation label with the correct installation details.

  1. Outdoor unit

    A Mitsubishi Heavy Industries outdoor unit.

    Supply and fitting are included in the price, just like your indoor units.

  2. Isolator switch

    The grey switch on the wall, with the cable to the outdoor unit.

    It lets you safely cut the power to the outdoor unit. It's included in the price.

  3. Feet

    The rubber feet under the outdoor unit.

    They're part of the installation materials and fixings, and those are included in the price.

What it will look like at your home

During the visit, Rein looks at where your outdoor unit will go. After that, your price is fixed.

Up to 5 years' warranty

You get a standard 2-year warranty, on top of your statutory rights. Have Airco Holland service it every year from the moment it is installed, and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries manufacturer's warranty runs on for up to 5 years. Airco Holland is certified by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to offer this.

The extension to 5 years applies to an air conditioner installed by Airco Holland, counted from the installation date. It starts once your maintenance plan is in place and the first service has been carried out and paid for. Skip the yearly maintenance and the extension lapses.

Airco Holland has the Kiwa quality mark for F-gases (BRL 100).

Rein chooses the capacity based on your square metres. All four are Mitsubishi Heavy Industries wall-mounted units from the SRK ZS-WF series: they cool and heat, with an energy label of A++ or better.

You get a targeted price indication straight away, based on all the comparable installations we have done. When Rein visits, he looks at your situation, and after that we fix the price, guaranteed. So it may turn out a little higher or lower than the indication.

Does the price include VAT?

Yes. Your price indication and your price include supply, installation and 21% VAT. There is no reduced VAT rate for air conditioning.

What do you do during the installation?

We make the wall opening and lay the pipework, do a pressure test with nitrogen and pull a vacuum on the system. Then we commission it and check it. We explain how the controls work, and we fit an installation label with the correct installation details. For us, the pressure test is a really important step: we put the pipework under pressure with nitrogen to check that it is leak-tight, before any refrigerant goes in. We also record the details on the installation label in our own records.

What does maintenance cost afterwards?

You arrange the yearly maintenance on airco-onderhouden.nl. What it costs per year depends on the number of indoor units: see the maintenance prices. Up to 5 years' warranty, with yearly maintenance by Airco Holland.

Can I get a subsidy for air conditioning?

No. The ISDE subsidy from the RVO (the Netherlands Enterprise Agency) doesn't cover an air-to-air heat pump, and that's what an air conditioner is. See the frequently asked questions about the ISDE (in Dutch, checked on 22 October 2026).

Can I add a room later?

Only if the outdoor unit can take another indoor unit. An SCM 40 or 45 has room for two, an SCM 50 or 60 for three, as long as the combined capacity fits. Thinking of adding a room? Say so straight away, and Rein will choose the outdoor unit with that in mind.

I have four or more rooms. What now?

Then Rein comes to take a look first and works out your price. Four or more rooms aren't on his list, and sometimes that means two outdoor units.
