Bij ons zijn er twee buitenunits en 4 binnenunits zonder problemen geplaatst. Met name de units op de bovenste etage zijn zo goed afgewerkt dat je aan de buitenkant helemaal niets ziet. Zij zetten steeds dat stapje extra waardoor je als klant met een gerust hart de installatie aan hun kunt overlaten. Na installatie laten ze alle ruimtes zeer netjes achter.

    The day itself

    We make the wall opening and lay the pipework, do a pressure test with nitrogen and pull a vacuum on the system. Then we commission it and check it. We explain how the controls work, and we fit an installation label with the correct installation details.

    How installation day goes

For us, the pressure test is a really important step: we put the pipework under pressure with nitrogen to check that it is leak-tight, before any refrigerant goes in. We also record the details on the installation label in our own records.

Have Airco Holland service it every year from the moment it is installed, and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries manufacturer's warranty runs on for up to 5 years. Airco Holland is certified by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to offer this.

Craftsmanship you won't see afterwards

Behind the indoor unit and through the wall run the copper pipes and their connections.

Your price is always all-in. It includes:

  • The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries set
  • Supply and fitting, with refrigerant pipes and fixings
  • Wall opening, pipework and nitrogen pressure test
  • Pulling a vacuum, commissioning and checking
  • Explaining the controls, and the installation label

Air conditioning should make your home more comfortable, not uglier.

That is why we also look at the route of the pipework: through the wall, boxed in, or outside in trunking in the colour of the wall.

Where the pipework goes

Every situation is different. Where possible, the pipework runs inside, and otherwise it runs outside in trunking. In this living room, even the air conditioner itself went out of sight.

    The air conditioner is built into a made-to-measure cupboard. Once it is finished, all you see is the grille at the top.

Two childhood friends from the building trade

Rein Gerritse and Peter Reijling are the owners and the faces of Airco Holland. They have known each other since they were young and first ran a building company together: years of renovations with architects, right up to canal houses in Amsterdam.

Up to 5 years' warranty. Start yearly maintenance by Airco Holland straight after installation, and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries manufacturer's warranty runs on for up to 5 years.

WHY IT PAYS OFF

    It stays efficient and comfortable

    With a dirty filter or a dirty inside, an air conditioner cools and heats less well and uses more electricity. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries says so, and Milieu Centraal, the Dutch environmental advice centre, recommends regular maintenance for that reason.

Will you still see the pipework afterwards?

As little as possible. If the indoor unit hangs on an outside wall, the pipework can go straight out behind it. Otherwise we look for a route where you see it as little as possible: boxed in, in a cupboard or in a sloping roof. If that doesn't work, it runs outside in trunking in the colour of the wall.

Can I get a subsidy for air conditioning?

No. The ISDE subsidy from the RVO (the Netherlands Enterprise Agency) does not cover an air-to-air heat pump, and that is what an air conditioner is.

Do you come to my area?

We come to 85 places in 28 municipalities around Hoofddorp, from Katwijk to Muiderberg. Type your town into the town check and you will see whether it is on our list. Live just outside it? Give us a call and Rein will see whether we can still help.

Can air conditioning heat as well?

Yes. Every wall-mounted unit we give a price for cools and heats. An indoor unit does only heat the room it hangs in. We advise using the air conditioning as your main heating down to an outside temperature of about 0 degrees. When it gets colder outside, we advise additional heating. That does depend on how well your home is insulated and on the capacity of the installation.

When does the 5-year warranty apply?

The extension to 5 years applies to an air conditioner installed by Airco Holland, counted from the installation date. It starts once your maintenance plan is in place and the first service has been carried out and paid for. Skip the yearly maintenance and the extension lapses.

What does maintenance cost afterwards?

You arrange maintenance on airco-onderhouden.nl, also run by Rein and Peter. There you can see straight away what a plan costs for your system, including VAT.
