Once you've agreed, we settle on the installation date together. That depends on delivery times, the season and what suits you best. Afterwards we tidy up and show you how to use the controls.

Two or three rooms can share one outdoor unit. Each room gets its own indoor unit, which you set separately.

With four or more rooms, a room larger than 60 m² or a ceiling unit, we won't guess at a figure. Rein comes to take a look and then puts together a tailored price.

On a flat roof, on an outside wall or on the ground: Rein looks at where it can go. If you rent the space, you arrange the owner's permission yourself. Rein tells you where the outdoor unit can go and how the pipework will run, so you know what to ask.

Do businesses pay different prices?

No. Businesses pay the same prices, including VAT. For a bigger job, Rein puts together a tailored price.

Can you install a ceiling unit?

A ceiling or concealed unit isn't on our price list. If you'd like one, Rein comes to take a look first, and after that you get a tailored price. Read the full answer

Who arranges permission from the landlord or the owners' association (VvE)?

You arrange that yourself. Rein helps you work out where the outdoor unit can go, so you know what to ask.

Can the air conditioning heat as well?

Yes. The wall-mounted units we install cool and heat. Each indoor unit heats the room it's in. Read the full answer

What do you do during the installation?

We make the wall opening and lay the pipework, do a pressure test with nitrogen and pull a vacuum on the system. Then we commission it and check it. We explain how the controls work, and we fit an installation label with the correct installation details. For us, the pressure test is a really important step: we put the pipework under pressure with nitrogen to check that it is leak-tight, before any refrigerant goes in. We also record the details on the installation label in our own records.

What warranty do I get?

You get a standard 2-year warranty, on top of your statutory rights. Have Airco Holland service it every year from the moment it is installed, and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries manufacturer's warranty runs on for up to 5 years. Airco Holland is certified by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to offer this. The extension to 5 years applies to an air conditioner installed by Airco Holland, counted from the installation date. It starts once your maintenance plan is in place and the first service has been carried out and paid for. Skip the yearly maintenance and the extension lapses. You arrange the maintenance on airco-onderhouden.nl.
