Bij ons zijn er twee buitenunits en 4 binnenunits zonder problemen geplaatst. Met name de units op de bovenste etage zijn zo goed afgewerkt dat je aan de buitenkant helemaal niets ziet. Badhoevedorp began at the Badhoeve, the farm of mr. J.P. Amersfoordt in the drained Haarlemmermeer. In 1934 the municipal council adopted a plan for a garden village, with tree-lined avenues and generous plots. In the 1950s and early 1960s the village grew fast.

An outdoor unit in Badhoevedorp
It depends on where it goes
On the ground, up to 1 metre high and 2 m², you don't need a permit (article 2.29 of the Bbl, the Dutch building regulations). On the wall or on the roof, your municipality's zoning plan (omgevingsplan) decides.
On or attached to a listed building, you always need a permit.
The owners' association (VvE) is responsible for the shared parts of the building, such as the outside wall and the roof. If the outdoor unit goes there, or the pipework runs through them, put it to your VvE first.
If your house adjoins your neighbours', the outdoor unit may make no more than 40 dB at the property boundary (article 4.107 Bbl). In an apartment building, the limit applies at the neighbours' windows and doors that can open (article 4.108).
The register has no national monument with an address in Badhoevedorp. Whether your house is a municipal monument, the municipality of Haarlemmermeer can tell you. If it is one, you always need a permit for an outdoor unit on or attached to the house.
Where does the outdoor unit go on a semi-detached house?
